Hello my name is Stanley I am 9 and I am a boy and my date of birth is August 19 2004. I am Tongan and I was born in New Zealand. My grandpa died when I first started school. My favourite things I like to do in my spare time are watching TV, listening to music, playing outside, read books. My favourite singers are Bruno Mars and Ariana Grande. My favourite TV program’s are Sam and Cat, The Thundermans, and SpongeBob. My favourite food is Butter Chicken and pizza. My favourite sports are Basketball, swimming and Triathlon.The best brands I like are Vans, Chucks.

Basketball

          Basketball

On a sunny fresh lovely morning Room 5 went to the courts for Basketball. I was very excited, our coach was called  Vinny he looked very kind and cool. First he said “run around the whole court”. After running around the whole court we were panting. Vinny told us to get a ball so we did what he said. He told us how to Pivot, we faced the side of the hall then we turned with one leg to the side of the church.I liked doing Pivots. Next we played a game called Red Light Green Light. We run around half a court and when Vinny says “Red light” we all freeze and when he says “Green light” we run.We learned how to protect our ball when someone is going to get it. We hold the ball and place it next to our hips, it was really a lot of fun. We had a challenge between girls vs boys, we had to run along the line and run straight to the circle where the balls were and we had to grab a ball and score at the hoop.The boys won, it was really fun at Basketball. Soon it was time for Room 3 to come to the court. We all put our hands together and shouted “BASKETBALL!”.
