  1. Hi Stanley,

Brrrr...it sounds like it going to be pretty cold in Japan today. I'm pretty happy that we currently live in New Zealand and are having a beautiful, sunny and hot summer day! Did you know that today is the longest day of the year when it comes to sunlight? This means that we will have more minutes of day light today than any other day of the year. We better make the most of it, eh?!

I think that I will go outside for a nice walk with my son after lunch. What will you do to take advantage of this beautiful, sunny day?

    Rachel :)

  3. Kia ora Stanley,

I tell you what, I'm pretty happy with our New Zealand January compared to that right now! I'll take warmth and sunshine any day of the week I reckon :-)

Well done on compiling such a detailed weather forecast Stanley. Whenever we're travelling somewhere (especially somewhere new) it's really important to plan ahead, so a good weather forecast is very helpful! Just looking at your weather forecast though, it looks like as well as being cold, you're going to get a bit of a mixed bag. What kind of clothes do you think you'll need to pack for a trip like that?

    Cheers,
    Dan.
