Day 1 Weekly Activity - (Activity 1)

Activity 1:  Go to the Tourism New Zealand website and click on the ‘Facts - New Zealand People’ tab. Read about the people of New Zealand and then choose three interesting facts to post on your blog. The facts must be written in your own words. Do not simply copy and paste the facts from the website☺.

Great work on your facts about New Zealand!
Like how you put the flag on the side to represent your facts! Good on you!

  3. Kia ora Stanley,

Welcome back to the holiday blogging programme. It is awesome to have you back blogging with us this year.

I hope that you have enjoyed the journey so far. I have certainly enjoyed reading your blog posts and will endeavour to comment on each and every one over the next little while. Right now there are so many blogs being posted that I am only able to comment on one at a time. I will get there, though, I promise!

In the meantime, I hope that you will continue with your great posts. I enjoyed reading this current post because it reminded me of the fact that many kiwis spend their days working in the paddocks as farmers. One of my best friends actually lives on a farm in the Manawatu area. It is about 6 hours south of here (by car). She and her husband have a dairy farm. It's really hard work but she (Kate) really seems to love it!

Do you have any experience working on a farm?

    Keep up the great work,

    Rachel :)
